Dr. MANURI BRAHMAYYA

Dr Manuri Brahmayya is an Associate Professor (Chemistry) at MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT), Hyderabad, India. He received his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University and earned his PhD in Engineering Chemistry from the same university in 2013. He has extensive international research experience, having completed four postdoctoral fellowships at Hungkuang University (Organic Synthesis, Phase transfer catalysis, National Chung Hsing University (Nanocatalysts, Carbon-based biomaterials, CO2 Reduction), Chang Gung University (Polymeric Biomaterials and Polymeric carbon catalysts), and Academia Sinica (Carbohydrate synthesis), Taiwan. He has also served as a Guest Assistant Professor at Andhra University. He worked as a Research Associate in the Biotechnology Project, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) at the Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Manuri Brahmayya's research focuses on organic synthesis, carbon nanomaterial catalysis, phase transfer catalysis, sonochemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, nanomaterials, biomass valorization, green chemistry, and traditional medicine. He has published more than 60 research articles in SCI- and Scopus-indexed international journals, 4 Patents, and many book chapters in his credentials. He serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several reputed journals in Bentham Science, Elsevier, and many Scopus journals. His contributions have been recognized with the Best Research Article Award (2019) in Elsevier Journals like J.T.I.C.E, and Outstanding Reviewer Awards (2016) from S.A.J.Ch.Eng. As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Carbon Catalysis, he is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through rigorous peer review, research integrity, and international scientific collaboration.

1.Dr. Arun Lal Srivastav

He is working as Professor and Associate Dean (Research), Tula’s Institute (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He received PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He has also done post-doctoral research at National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. He is currently involved in the teaching of Environmental Science and Engineering, Disaster Management to the undergraduate engineering students. His research interests include water quality surveillance, climate change, water treatment, river ecosystem, soil health maintenance, engineering education, phytoremediation and waste management. Under his supervision, 3 PhD degrees have been awarded. He has published  >150 research papers in various prestigious journals (Elsevier, Springer, IWA, Taylor & Francis etc.) including books, book chapters and conference publications. He has edited many books with Elsevier, Springer, NOVA, IGI global and Wiley. Additionally, he is also one of the series editors of Elsevier and Nova publisher on energy sustainability and e-waste management, respectively. He worked on 04 Government sponsored projects (worth ~16 million INR) on phytoremediation, adsorption, capacity building, organic farming, leachate treatment, agro-waste management etc. He received the prestigious "Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) Fellowship" followed by a research grant from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India in 2022. He has also filed 31 patents on multidisciplinary topics and 14 out of which have been granted by the Government of India. He has also been recognized among the top 2% worldwide scientists of Earth and Environmental Sciences jointly by Stanford University and Elsevier in the year 2023, 2024 and 2025. Recently, his name has been included in top 0.05% scholars of the year 2025 by ScholarGPS in Environmental Sciences.

2. Dr. Kiran B. Manjappa

He is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program for Biomedical and Materials Science at Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan, a position he has held since February 2020. He previously served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Tunghai University. Dr. Manjappa received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Kuvempu University, India, and earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2007. He was subsequently awarded a CSIR Research Associateship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where he conducted postdoctoral research from 2007 to 2012, before moving to Taiwan under a Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Postdoctoral Fellowship at Tunghai University (2013–2017).Dr. Manjappa's research program spans synthetic organic chemistry and functional materials science, with particular emphasis on C–H functionalization methodologies and the design of engineered organic functional materials for fluorescence-based and biomedical applications. His work bridges fundamental synthetic methodology and application-driven molecular design, reflecting a strong commitment to translating organic synthesis into functional technologies.

Manjappa, Kiran B.

 

3.Dr. Srinivasa Rao Popuri

Dr. Srinivasa Rao Popuri is a Senior Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry in the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry and has established an internationally recognized research program in sustainable materials and environmental technologies. His research interests include membrane technology, adsorption and separation science, wastewater treatment, biodegradable polymers, electronic waste recycling, microbial fuel cells, and renewable energy. Dr. Popuri has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international journals and has received several prestigious awards, including The University of the West Indies Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research, the Principal's Award for Outstanding Research, and the TWAS–Caribbean Academy of Sciences Young Scientist Award. His work continues to contribute significantly to green chemistry, resource recovery, and sustainable environmental solutions.

4.Dr. Ramaraju Bendi

He received his Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and PhD from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India in 2004, 2006 and 2011, respectively. After 1.5 years of postdoc research in IIT Hyderabad, India he moved to Taiwan and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Oct 2012-Sept 2013) and National Taiwan Normal University (Oct 2013-July 2014). After that he moved to NTU, Singapore as a postdoctoral research fellow in School of Material Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (Sept 2014 to June 2017). After his postdoc tenure he worked as a Sr. Manager for QC and R&D, Shan Poornam SDN BHD, Penang, Malaysia (2017-18) and served as an Associate Professor, Aditya Institute of Technology, Tekkali, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, India (2018-21). At present he is working as an Assistant General Manager, R&D Neogen Chemicals and he is working on Lithium-ion battery materials.  He published his research work in several international journals and patents. His research work includes the Nanomaterials for Energy and Electronics applications, Energy and Environmental applications with DBD Plasma, Carbon materials, heterogeneous catalysis, Photocatalysis and waste management.

5.Dr. Joga Chandrasekhar Rao 

Associate Professor 

Dr. J. C. Rao (b. 1972) is Head of the Department of Physics at Govt. Degree College, Rajam, Andhra Pradesh. He holds a Ph.D. from GITAM University (2019) and multiple degrees from Andhra University. His career spans roles as Secondary Teacher, Junior Lecturer, and Degree College Lecturer (since 2013). He has served as APCOST District Coordinator, National Jury for NCSC, Resource Person for IISF, and is currently State Coordinator of FOCUS IAPT-Anveshika, President of IAPT RC-11 (AP), and VIPNET Club Coordinator. Dr. Rao holds two patents, completed a UGC Minor Research Project, and has published internationally. His awards include the State Best Lecturer Award (2011), Ugadi Puraskaram (2018), and a Gold Medal at ISTF (2021), recognizing his innovations in physics teaching and science outreach.

He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. He received his PhD in Physics, Nanoscience and technology from National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He has research experience in nanotechnology, thin-film materials, and advanced functional materials. His expertise includes thin-film deposition, nanomaterials synthesis, interface engineering, and advanced materials characterization. His research focuses on functional thin films for green energy, energy storage, electronic devices, and sustainable technologies. He has extensive experience with advanced characterization techniques, including synchrotron X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, spectroscopy, and surface analysis. 2.Dr. Prakash Baburao Rathod 
Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry,  

Dr. Prakash Baburao Rathod is an Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry at KBCNMU, Jalgaon. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (2020) from Savitribai Phule Pune University and has teaching experience at Pune, Gadchiroli, and Jalgaon. His research focuses on nanoparticle synthesis, catalysis, water remediation, and perovskite-based sensors. He has received DAE fellowships (2014–2019), won the Best Oral Presentation Award at SESTEC-2018, and leads funded projects on green materials, sustainable biopolymers, and catalytic applications. Dr. Rathod has published widely in journals such as RSC Advances, ChemistrySelect, ACS Applied Nano Materials, and Environmental Pollutants & Bioavailability, authored textbooks in Inorganic Chemistry, and contributed book chapters with Springer, Wiley, Elsevier, and IGI Global. He also serves on the editorial board of Energy Intelligence and Sustainability and reviews for RSC Advances.

3.Dr. Muni Kumar Dokka

Associate Professor 

Dr. Muni Kumar Dokka is an accomplished Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, with over 14 years of research experience and 12 years of teaching expertise. His research encompasses diverse areas within Clinical Biochemistry, Enzymology, Protein Chemistry, Microbial Biotechnology, and Nanobiotechnology. He is particularly recognized for his in-depth investigations on Protease inhibitors and their therapeutic potential, including anticancer, antimicrobial, and insecticidal activities. Dr. Muni Kumar earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and subsequently completed a prestigious UGC-sponsored Postdoctoral Fellowship at Andhra University. He is a  Gold Medalist at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has published over 45 research articles in peer-reviewed Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals, contributed to two international book chapters, and has presented more than 50 scientific papers at national and international conferences. His academic contributions have been acknowledged through several accolades, including the Young Scientist Award by the Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences (2016), the Agro Environmental Development Society (2020), and the Best Faculty Award (2022). In addition to his research and teaching accomplishments, Dr. Muni Kumar serves as a peer reviewer for multiple scientific journals and possesses strong technical proficiency in advanced biochemical and molecular biology techniques, including HPLC, ELISA, PCR and SDS-PAGE
